Certified Nursing Assistant
Training as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Switzerland provides a solid foundation for anyone pursuing a career in Swiss healthcare.
In this advanced training, you will learn essential nursing fundamentals and have the opportunity to support nursing professionals, making a valuable contribution to the care of individuals in need.
The course combines theoretical e-learning content with practical exercises, making it ideal for family caregivers, individuals re-entering the workforce, migrants, and job seekers who want to qualify in the healthcare field.
Course Structure and Content
The course includes a total of 120 hours of theoretical training,
- 72 hours of e-learning
- 48 hours of in-person instruction, divided over 6 days.
The in-person modules can be completed in either Basel (BS) or Langenthal (BE).
Practical Component
An internship of 120 hours (approximately 15 days) is also required for certification. Participants are responsible for organizing their own internship placement. We are happy to assist if needed.

Participation Requirements
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Good German language skills (Level B1)
- Empathy and interest in caregiving
- Laptop, tablet, or smartphone for e-learning modules
Registration and Further Information
The course costs CHF 1750.00 (payable in 2 installments).
This price includes course materials, access to e-learning, and the certificate. You can start the e-learning modules even before the in-person sessions begin.
Existing theoretical and/or practical knowledge can be credited toward the course. For more information, please refer to the "Recognition Procedure" information sheet.
